WATER FITNESS
Welcome to water fitness at Deaconess Aquatic Center. We’re here to help people discover the life-long health benefits of swimming.
Water fitness classes are taught by certified water fitness instructors and available to all levels of fitness. Water fitness classes are no additional charge beyond the cost to access the facility (if you are a monthly member, it is included with your membership).
- POWER AQUA: 8:30-9:15 AM High intensity class to get your heartrate up without straining your joints. A fun whole-body cardio workout.
- AQUA FIT: 9:20-10:05 AM Moderate intensity emphasizing cardio, strength, balance, and flexibility. Low impact and fun using water fitness equipment.
- WATER WELLNESS 10:15-11:00 AM Low intensity shallow-water class focusing on functional movements to increase joint mobility and muscle strength to improve flexibility and agility.
Masters Swimming is now available at Deaconess Aquatic Center.
Lap swimming is available in both the Competition Pool and the Recreation Pool at designated times as listed on the pool schedule. Lap Swim Guidelines can be found on the pool schedule as well as our FAQ page.
